How do you write a good popsong? Well, as easy as that: listen to popmusic and forget about everything you´ve heard. Then sit down, grab yourself a guitar and play the music you like. Get your friends infected! Make shure you find a nice place to record, good stuff and some great guys, that get your sound well engineered. Mix it Baby! Get a million copies (or a thousand) released by other good guys, that are willing to burn all their money for your success.
Get your songs played to people in every possible way – then WAIT.
If you´ve written a popsong you will recognize it pretty soon. If you still feel like the years before, it does not mean the song was bad – it just didn´t got engough popular.
On their new album BOMBEE tried to bring to sound the above described approach eleven times. Following the line of the simple song, they started on their last years release “Beach Boys Back From Anchorage”, de Flandré, Roeder and Kaiser continue to keep everything as simple but as surprising as possible. Well, they did. Now they WAIT!

The band, that can travel in a Fiat Cinquecento, while playing their fi rst show in the traffic jam, is here to warm your ears. How simple live is, when you can bring it to sound just with voice, guitar and cajon. Bombee+ don`t do that out of a sentimental campfi re history, they search for the empty paths just right next to their musical mainroutes, though sound differences could not be bigger.
In this band, that developed out of a session project De Flandre, Roeder and der Kaiser leave the spheres of infernal noise and nested grooves behind and carry their musical baggage into the snowy hills of their home area, where one can devote to the simple life in wooden houses with a big warm ingel fire.
Welcome to „Piets House“, where within one week and fed with all the silence of the world, this album was born. Created by men, that eat everything with just one knife and shave rarely and for those reasons had the time to breed songs like „Back from Anchorage“ or „Sunhill“ out of nothing. Without any effort, not fearing the often disdained simple song. Like in an open book you now hear those pages of musical passion, that are worth to be shared with others.
