03/2010 - We are Back

We returned from the probably craziest tour of our »career« - though it was the shortest, it had some remarkable funny and also a few sad & scary moments, which we could share with some of the nicest people on the ground: first of all with all of you - the people, that showed up on our shows and especially with you: our beloved Wive - Isaac, Meghan & Matt, Hannah (Uschi) and Dustin - you made this week special and we hope the pictures will show that and keep the memories forever. Oops, there we go: pathetic!

So, we´d like to go on with a big excuse to all of you guys that showed up in Tübingen, Braunschweig and Chemnitz for not being able to play a full Bombee set, but unfortunately this was caused by some medical reasons, that are undergoing exact research as we write. We hope you liked our impro-sets with Wive instead.

Additionally and because we always forget, we would like to thank the following people (in no particular but considered order): Andreas & Beate for making this tour work (and for signing Wive to EOM!), Hansi for providing and hosting one of the nicest places for bands to stay (we´ll fight with you on the barricades for that house, if you need us!) Adam & Silverrocket, the Arena-Team (thumbs up for the soundengineer!), the unknown teens, that filled up the Feierwerk, the ancient roadworkers of Tübingen, Timo and Meusel, all our Chemnitz fellows and of course our beloved families and friends.

We hope, you will all join us on our June tour for the release of our forthcoming album »Black Keys« that will proudly carry Exile On Mainstreams catalogue number 46!

The new Bombee record named „Black Keys“ is almost done and will be released this summer through Exile On Mainstream Records. As announced Hannah(Wive) played violin on two tracks. Get ready for a step forward!

In March we'll be on tour with Wive, the brand-new band of Hannah and Matt of ex- a whisper in the noise. So we're both „new“ „old“ members of the Exile family.

Getting nervous? Wanna see something? So let´s get started with an EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW to our "Chamber Stories" live-DVD. Not just that you get to see some first impressions of the show we recorded, you will also listen to an unreleased song, that will be on our next record. We hope you enjoy this little preview! Come to visit a whole BOMBEE* show on our tour starting March 18th.!

To tell the truth: We haven´t seen any picture from our DVD-Live show yet, but we know, the whole CHAMBER STORIES gonna be a very nice piece to have. All of you guys that have been with us that night are one reason we are shure, one´s gonna like it. We had alot of fun and pleasure and are looking forward to capture each one of you on our very first DVD. By the way: the first 111 releases are gonna be limited in a unique metal box - we recommend to stay tuned to this page and of course to poor-dog.com to be the very first to get your hands on those rare pieces. The next „Chamber Story“ will appear here soon.

Come to see us and take us home! Yes! It´s true - there will be an BOMBEE+ Live-DVD next spring. We will tour for this release, that we are looking forward to record next week. The approximately 14-days tour will start on March 16th. More informations will follow as soon as we have confirmed the dates. The DVD will contain some new, unreleased songs, that will hopefully find their place on our next record. For now we would like to thank you people, that came to see us on our little tour last week - it was fun! (Well, not with you Blue Sinners Idiots!) Bye! Hope to see you all again soon.

thank you for showing up at our ten days springbreak tour, we had a great time with you and with the amazing guys from A WHISPER IN THE NOISE (thank you, thank you, thank you for having us on board – Hannah: we still hear your vioala on flowers, every time we play it now – thats great and sad at the same time – we need to repeat that!)
one of the shows on this tour at the STUK in Leuven (BEL) was recorded (thanks guys!) and we are working on this material right now, to check, if we can provide you with some live songs for downloading. Check out our homepages constantly, you will find all the news there.
We also have some more dates confirmed for this year and planning for more.

The spring is coming and so are we. Our ten day march vacation we lead us to a city near you and if you wanna hear our new vibes spinnig around our ears, go and check out our dates section, where you can pick the venue of your choice. We feel honored to share those stages as well as the van with the incredible A WHISPER IN THE NOISE, and we are looking forward to this experience. It´s coming down. After months of waiting we are now ready and proud to announce, that our second full length album, which will be selftitled, is gonna be released within the next days, with the big help from our great sweethome friends, thru the allmighty poor-dog distribution. And it will hopefully find its way into your players and ears. For those of you, who already went out to see one of our shows (thank you!) and grabbed a record (thank you very much!) ? you are the first that got to hear it, and we hope, you liked, what you`ve heard. Now! You all have to go thru that dark and cold period of no Bombee+ shows and winter of course ? but if we find some warm and cozy places to play during the next months, we will let you know about it here! What we definitly know is, that we are gonna be back on stage for a two week tour in march, and hopefully we`ll be able to join a great band on their european tour ? but we will announce that, when it comes to reality. Till then, enjoy the snow, if there will be any!

After relaxing months of fareast vacation we are back on the screen to present our new selftitled album, which will be released via sweethomerecords in late october / beginning of november. And of course we will be touring around germany, austria and switzerland again, between 25th of september and 7th of october, to present the - as we feel – beautiful new pieces and the best of the material, that you might already know and started to like?!

Its time to let it out again. We packed our bags and we are ready to climb up our hometown mountains to enter Piets House for the second time now. To protect ourselves from freezing to death, we`ve chosen springtime this year to record some new songs. Although we will have some more quality hardware to record on, we still don`t go posh, but keep it simple and real, as you might already know us. The new material will be out in september, published by our good friends of Sweet Home Records - of course!!!

Now we are back from tour with Emirsian, playing a show in december with Calaveras and thinking about a little tour in march 2007.

… we are really sorry to tell you, that there will be no shows with William Elliott Whitmore in december. The so long awaited tour has been cancelled, because of a familiar tragedy. We are really sorry for William and hope he will be able to continue his european tour in 2007. We will let you know about the dates as soon as they are confirmed. Meanwhile we decided not to cancel the shows, but going to play some of them with the mastermind of the german indie band Harmful, Aren Emirze and his solo acoustic project Emirsian.
